Who would win in an all-out battle: Marvel or DC?

The Marvel/DC debate has plagued us mere mortals for years, and it has caused many a rift between families, friends, and lovers. Yes, there are those who side with the DC Universe and their dark superheroes, and there are those who side with Marvel and their gods – so who the heck wins? With so many superheroes on each side, how the heck are we supposed to become toa decision? Well, it seems as though one comic has done the deciding for you.

In the mid-00s, Marvel and DC decided to work together to create the ultimate crossover comic that decided once and for all who would win in a battle of wits. These are who fought against each other, and which superhero claimed victory…

Flash (DC) vs. Quicksilver (Marvel)

There’s no denying the fact that these two are pretty darn fast – but there is a slight difference between these two. For starters, one really loves the color blue while the other seems to prefer bright red, but it seems their speeds are also pretty different. In fact, The Flash is much quicker than Quicksilver, which means he won that battle.

Thor (Marvel) vs. Captain Marvel (DC)

Anyone else not want to know who won this one? Well, we don’t really want to know either, but it’s all part of knowing who would win in an all-out battle between Marvel or DC. During this fight, the Norse God in the Marvel Universe managed to bag his way to victory after Captain Marvel temporarily changed back into Billy Batson. It was the moment he needed.

Batman (DC) vs. Captain America (Marvel)

Now this is a battle we would have liked to have seen. Marvel’s super soldier had a real task on his hands when he had to battle it out with DC’s Caped Crusader, and it’s fair to say that they both put up a huge fight. Yet, in the end, Batman managed to sling a Batarang right in Captain America’s conk which left him out to dry.

Elektra (Marvel) vs. Catwoman (DC)

Let’s be honest; we would not want to get into a fight with either of these two ladies. Elektra has the power to send you to the fishes within seconds, and Catwoman has the ability to steal anything within her reach – I mean, how can you even decide which one wins this contest? Well, in their comic, Marvel and DC allowed Elektra to overpower Catwoman, and essentially throw her off a building. Not cool, Elle.

Spider-Man (Marvel) vs. Superboy (DC)

Spider-Man has always been a firm favorite within the Marvel Universe, and it’s fair to say that Superboy has slipped under the radar a little – especially for those who watch the movies rather than read the comics. It seems as though there’s a reason for this lack of popularity, as Superboy was electrocuted during his battle with Spider-Man.

Robin (DC) vs. Jubilee (Marvel)

Okay, so we wouldn’t put these two superheroes against each other, but Marvel and DC thought it worked, so why would we go against their genius minds? These two struggled to deal with each other’s powers during their epic battle, but it was eventually Robin who managed to lasso his rope around Jubilee and render her powers useless.

Storm (Marvel) vs. Wonder Woman (DC)

Storm and Wonder Women are two of the strongest women in the Marvel and DC universe, so who do you think would win in an all-out battle? While Wonder Woman is strong, confident, and has a few tricks up her sleeve, she just couldn’t compare to the electrifying powers of Storm. Wonder Woman left defeated.

Aquaman (DC) vs. Namor (Marvel)

As two of the most famous men of Atlantis, the battle between Aquaman and Namor gave these aquatic princes the chance to show off their skills and to prove who really was the leader of the underworld. Although it seemed like a pretty even battle to start with… Aquaman eventually sought help from a whale, who crushed Namor into oblivion.

Silver Surfer (Marvel) vs. Green Lantern (DC)

We’ve always been a little amazed by the fact that the Silver Surfer is literally made of silver, but we genuinely thought Green Lantern could have had a shot if he was on his A-game. However, it seems as though the superhero gods were not holding out for ol’ greeny, because Silver Surfer eventually took the top spot and won.

Superman (DC) vs. Hulk (Marvel)

You’d like to think that a giant green monster would have the power to overpower a smaller flying man, but it seems as though Hulk just didn’t have it in him to defeat Superman during their battle. In fact, Superman didn’t even really give Hulk a chance. He simply punched him and punched him until Hulk had nothing left.

Wolverine (Marvel) vs. Lobo (DC)

We all know who Wolverine is, but have you ever heard of Lobo? Well, it seems as though you might not need to know who he is, because Wolverine took care of him for us. Although Lobo tried to overpower his opponent, Wolverine eventually just used his mega claws to rip him to shreds. Ouch, that had to hurt.

These superheroes all fought it out to win in an all-out battle between Marvel and DC, but it seems as though they are both as awesome as each other! How could you possibly choose between the two?
